One of the best museums I went in sputh America. Really unique vibe and expositions. The architecture itself is beautiful and the way the museum expositions flows are great. If you enjoy contemporary art and expositions this is a place tou cannot mis in Colombia. The souvenir shop is nice with fair prices.
Loved it. Amazing exhibitions, incredible architecture, even the views from inside the building are beautiful. We even ate (savoury crepes) at the cafeteria inside and it was very nice. Theres a park outside which is peaceful. I would definitely recommend visiting here and immersing yourself in the art and serenity.
Disappointing. With only 4 levels of medium sized space devoted to one artist each, and no permanent exhibition—the visit was underwhelming. At 25k it’s not too expensive but for the value—it’s quite poor. Saw rather mediocre pieces of modern art and theme wise they were very similar in pattern and pastiche. In truth the store was probably more exciting. Perhaps I just came at the wrong time. Save your energy for the Botero Museum—it’s free and outstanding.
Impeccable service and kindness (we had even a trolley with us, stored with no issues) in a stunning contemporary location. La casa de Asterion, the selection of permanent art showcased when we visited, gave us a chilling but familiar sensation, in its stated intention of exploring the human nature in all its derivations and deformations. Strongly suggested to modern art lovers, it is not a broad or emblazoned collection but MAMBO has some little pearls like the six disturbing, articulated engravings composing El Delirio de las Monjas Muertas, by Juan Antonio Roda.
An impressive museum with exhibits that are really worth seeing. the building is very attractive with open large windows. You could also easily move into and furnish your loft there. It was somewhat unfortunate that there was no mention of the works of art anywhere, unfortunately no title or other background information. Still very worth seeing with innovative artists and their works of art.
